Servicing your Chris King hub regularly will make it perform its best. O-rings and seals don't normally need to be replaced with every cleaning or service, but after a while, it's a great idea to refresh your hub's seals to maximize your hub's ability to keep the grit out.

To replace the most exposed seals in your hubs, no special tools are needed. For a complete hub service, consider purchasing the hub service tool. Like your Chris King hub, it's a work of art in itself.
