With up to a 70% reduction in sound volume, the MP MegaPac is useful in applications where maximum booth space and isolation is needed. This extra-large booth features 360° of CSP, all with 18-inch Height Extenders that provide a comfortable 7-feet of headroom. This booth also includes a whopping 112 square feet of SORBER sound absorption, a 72-inch wide x 66-inch deep SL7266 LidPac, and a 6-inch clip-on fan to help cool the interior.
The MP features an A2466x7 CSP in front and an A2466x5 CSP in the rear. Included sections of HCNL H-channel and BASE channel are used to connect the two CSP systems together on one side. Panels are left unattached on the other side to allow one of the end panels on the A2466x5 to be used as a booth access door
Sound source isolation during concerts or in the studio environment is a constant issue that needs to be address in the face of multiple microphone set-ups.
ClearSonic Panels (CSP) facilitate acoustic separation between instruments on stage or in the studio, helping reduce drum bleed into vocal or instrument microphones.
The MegaPac is more suited to the studio environment, paricularly as a drum kit isolation booth. It provides maximum acoustic performance inside and out. The system consists of a seven-section clear acrylic panel system (A5-7) and a five section acrylic system (A5-5,) that together provide 360 degrees of maximum sound isolation. Twelve 18" height extender panels (AX18,) deliver a full 7' of headroom.
Nineteen S2 and twelve S1 dark grey SORBER baffles provide 112 square feet of interior sound absorption. An extended lid system and fan complete the MegaPac.
